http://www.medications.com/effect/view/42656 I am taking prednisone and probably will for the rest of my life due to a rare lung disorder. I am down to 5 mg every day. When I first was put on it, I was taking 20 mg which wasn't too bad. The Dr. increased it to 80 mg. That was a living nightmare.
