http://www.medications.com/effect/view/6608 I take Atarax (50mg) every four hours as needed. It works fairly well, but not all the time. When I first started taking it, it made me *really* drowsy, but since, I must have gotten used to it because it rarely makes me drowsy anymore. --Chris
