Actonel side effects

I started taking actonel one month ago, yesterday was my last pill. Today while taking a shower my hair started falling out in chunks. I'm here looking up if anyone else had this problem. I haven't even combed my hair I'm afraid it will all be gone by the time I finish combing my hair. Anyone else have this problems. I also started having sores in my mouth.

I've taken Actonel 35 mg for about 2 years. I've stopped taking it. I have developed severe hip joint pain and stiffness. It has gotten progressively worse. First the hip tendons seemed to hurt and weaken, severe sharp shooting pain upon some movements. I have times where I injured the hip from simple things, like digging in the garden with a shovel. I am 52, am/was very active. Had breast cancer so the doctors keep testing for cancer in the hip, it's not there. X-ray show arthritis-type changes. The pain is getting worse, so I'm looking for doctors/treatment to help, stop, or reverse this hip pain. Actonel mentions joint/hip pain in the side-effects, anyone else have these problems?

I've been taking Actonel for over a year. I slowly started getting foot and leg cramps, They have increased to total body cramping. From my neck to arms, sides, back, leg(calf), foot and toes. The severity is tremendous. My doctor just keeps giving me samples and prescriptions for this and that. Not addressing the cramping issue. Finally he decided since it's widespread, it must be fibromialgia. I can't believe it! I am going to stop the actonel, and see if it works.. Thanks for being here to vent.

Severe hair breakage/loss. I've always had fairly thick hair - since starting Actonel 35 mg 1x/week, have noticed lots of hair breakage - The actonel is the only thing different in my life in the past 4 months, so I attribute the breakage to the drug - anyone else have severe breakage? This is in addition to severe left hip joint pain, jaw pain, and upset stomach. I'm not going to take any more Actonel.

I've been having these strange sensations in my arms. A kind of tingly pulse of energy going through my arms. It is hard to explain. I don't know if it is in my bones, muscles or exactly where it is!!

Has anyone out there experienced blood pressure problems, and heart pain/ pressure since takine actonel?????

I am taking the samples the dr. gave me and I am feeling flu-like symptons weakness, diahrea,and upset stomach

Impotence in men?

My mother has been given Actonel samples to try, before a prescription. I am looking for userid experience, ie, side effects, contraindications, and especially interested in blood clots, if any.
