Actos side effects

In January of 2008 I was diagnosed with Diabetes Type II, I was prescribed 500 mg of Metformin twice a day. After six weeks of therapy it was still ranging in the 200+, then the doctor added Actos 30mg and Lipitor 20 mg. One month after taking these, I started feeling dizzy, light headed. Then one day out of blue while driving to work, I had what I felt as a severe panic attack, fast heartbeat and sensation of near-fainting and a throbbing headache. At first I though it was just severe anxiety. I let the doctor know he just said it was stress related anxiety and referred me to see a therapist. Kept taking Actos and Lipitor and the episodes kept coming stronger and more frequently. To make a long story short, my children got concerned and looked up the medications I was on and looked up my symptoms on a website called ****** and discovered that I was not the only one having these same side effects. I have stopped taking the medications now for four days and my symptoms have stopped and starting to slowly feeling better.

Taking Actos 30 mg have atrial fibrillation, sick sinus syndrome, bradycardia, tachycardia, finally a pace maker

Servere abdominal pain upper left, extreme swelling of legs and feet, nauseated at time, blood pressure high most of the time, weight gain that I can't seem to lose.

Leg swelling, bad feeling of being flushed-hot-in head area-numbness of tongue or burning sensation of tongue and lethargic too. What is this?
Since taking Actos, I have gained weight and want to eat all the time.
I am diabetic and also on Lipitor, Metaformin, Starlix, and water pills.
Are any of these drugs interacting poorly for me? I was put on Actos because my sugar would not go down.

In Jan 2000 I was put on Actos 15 mil per day then to 25 mil then in Oct 01 I was given 35 mil per day, Macular Edema in Nov. then put on Avanida 4mil A M 4mil in P M after lasor, shots of kenalog, cateract surgery, still legally blind

Been on Actos since last March 2005 weight went up about 20 pounds now my feet our so cold and feel like they going to sleep all the time. Dr. said could be, just walk more. I am 76 just found out in Mar. I was diabet. Puls I am on other meds.

Since taking Actos I have had swelling in feet and legs, shortness of breath and weight gain. I quit taking it for a week and some of the swelling went down and I lost about five lbs. I don't want my diabetes to get out of control but neither can I afford to gain weght.

A few hours after taking my first dose, I awoke with a horrible burning sensation on my tongue. My face was numb in the area around my mouth, and I felt lethargic and nauseated.

Ditto on the second dose...after that I stopped taking it. I'd rather have high blood sugar!

weaking of the lower eye lid muscle, which leaves the eye looking drupey. Surgery is the cure. Anyone have anything close to this? let me know if you do.

Also, higher then normal protien count in the blood. Dont be alarmed, not bone cancer, we already hed this checked.

I have swelling in my hands at times, feet and legs also, am tired more so than usual and am gaining weight right and left even though I have been trying to lose it. Also, some shortness of breath even though I am a singer.

could anyone tell me if swelling of the parotid gland has happened when use this drug.Also swelling in the face.

Has any female had menstual changes using Actos?
