I am 19 years old and have been on Advair for 4 years. Although I have not had an asthma attack in 4 years =), I've had really bad heart problems for the past 2 which I never had prior to taking Advair. I'm finally going to the doctor this week and now I know it has to do with the Advair. I also have shortness of breath and for the past year have had reading comprehension problems as well as someone else had mentioned. I hope the symptoms will go away because it's not fun and I'm glad that I'm not hte only one who has these problems.

I am 19 years old and started Advair only 2 weeks ago, and already I'm feeling the symptoms other posters have mentioned. My back pain is unbearable, I can't even get comfortable long enough to fall asleep. I'm having extreme irratibility and mood swings. I have such muscle weakness that I can barely open a jar of peanut butter. On top of all of this, Advair is just barely doing anything to aid with my asthma symptoms. The side effects of this medication are not worth any of the help it provides.

I am 19 years old & I have been on a low dose of Advair for about a year & a half. It has done wonders for me. Weezing is a thing of the past. I forgot how constricting & uncomfortable I used to be. It makes my atheletic hobbies more exciting & less of a burden than before. Taking that first 6 foot sprint was a nightmare & regretful in the long "run". Now I'm vurtually worry free. I still keep an albuterol inhaler close just in case, but rarely use it except for when allergies act up. I know of no side effects thus far.
