Advair HFA and few minutes

I'm glad I found this site .. I too have been on Advair for many, many years due to chronic asthma. While the drug has helped me control my asthma, for the past two years every time I get a cold, I get pneumonia. I also have chronic thrush I cannot get rid of and one poster had mentioned her feet cramping and I've had some of that too. My doctor doesn't really listen to my complaints, but getting pneumonia really scares me - I have two small children to take care of. Hope all the posters are doing better now.

On Advair for 3 weeks for bronchitis/wheezing. Right away started having itching for an hour or so 2-3x a day. It has continued and expanded to many areas and is a temporary rash in some areas.
Benadryl stops it. Don't know if related, but heart rate accelerates from 80 to 160 in a few minutes of climbing stairs to do laundry for example and I've had chest pains.

I've starting taking Advair 100/50 for Asthma symptons I devleoped 3 years ago. My wheezing became bad enought taht I was not able to exercise outside any longer, nor breath comfortably after just a few minutes of exertion. Within 2 weeks on Advair, my symptions were gone. That was 6 months ago, but now I wonder if other problems have developed because of the Advair. The middle toes on my right foot have been numb for that last 2 months, and I get light headed and anxious from time to time. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I have been on Advair 250/50 for the past few months. It stopped the chronic short coughs and helped my asthma but I started having more problems with my throat. I am a professional vocalist and lost my voice. Went to my ENT and they found that I had an infection on my vocal chords. I stopped Advair yesterday and am going to check for something different. I am amazed at how little my GP knew re: Advair. I asked him this question two months ago and he said I could keep taking Advair without any problems indefinitely. A few minutes on the internet told me different. He must not have internet access or maybe he is using dial-up.
