Ambien and diarrhea

Works like a dream for me, as the ads say. HOWEVER, I only take it 1x or 2x/week when needed. If I take it a second night in a row, I find it's less effective, which makes it easier for me to stay off.

Must admit it's tempting to take it every night, "chase that high" so to speak, but I can see it won't work anyway.

What I love is how it gently eases me to sleep, and shuts off all those stress-related thoughts that keep me awake. I think that's the best part- it's like an OFF button.

Night goes by very quickly, though- seven hours feels like a minute. Sometimes diarrhea the next morning and grogginess. So far so good.

I have only taken Ambien for a couple of weeks now but every afternoon I feel like I can't make it home from work, I'm so drained. Also, I have the worse diarrhea I have ever experienced. I thought I must have a dread disease but now I believe it is the Ambien. If anyone else has had these same effects please let me know.
