I think Ambien blows it works for squats ,lots of side effects, nasal problems, bad headaches afterwards, you got it, i wouldn't take this crap again for nothing,. I opt for my anxiety meds xxnax, and my lyrica, i sleep great now. My pain is much better and my sex drive has increased. Everyone is different with different elements, it might work for some but its not for me.

I have been Ambien for about 3 years. I finally get a good nights sleep. I look forward to the little white pill which gives me rest. Recently, much to my dismay I have been experiencing something that really troubles me. I have to assume it is Ambien because nothing else has changed with me. I have become very paranoid with my friends. I don;t know how else to explain it. Other than that and that is huge, because I am constantly looking over my shoulder for something I have done, I am beginning to trust no one. Is anyone else experiencing any of this? I am typically a friendly easy going person with a lot of friends but in the past year things have changed. I've accused friends of things and have lost a lot of their friendships. I can't afford to lose anymore no matter how nice I might be,(or I think I am) I am beginning to question myself. Am I going nuts or is it possibly the little pill that gets me through the night. Can anyone help me with this dilemma, I can't afford to lose any more friends or loved ones. Help! I'm going to try to go off my little pill that brings peace to my life but I have to know if I'm going crazy or is it the medication. This is my last night to use it I think.

I have been taking Ambien on and off now for about 1 year and at first I started having bad headaches, dizziness, loss of thoughts, dry mouth, etc, but mostly my headaches became very bad until my blood pressure went up and I was put on B/P medication, so I stop taking the Ambien and I really feel like I am just lost and very irritable, and I feel like I am in a dream and I can not stand a lot of noise or any little sound just bothers me, my eyes stay red and burning and what I feel like is a really bad head cold or allergies.

I had been able to sleep without any problems my whole life. I could sleep anywhere. Then about year ago, that changed. I wasn't able to sleep. I wasn't tired and could stay up all night. After about four months of this, I tried ambien. Started off with 10 mg for about four months. Then switched to 5mg. The 5 mg works just as great as the 10mg. I don't have all the side effects that everyone else has, but I do have some. I wake up with a "hangover" feeling. There is also the dizziness and headaches. And the depression is starting to really get to me. And I am really starting to have problems focusing. These side effects seem to increase the longer I take it. I know I am addicted to ambien...........I start to get panicky if I start to think of not taking it. I am going to try and break the ambien into smaller amounts..........I truly believe there is a toxic level with ambien.

i took ambien for 7 years at the advice of my doctor for menopausal sleeplessness. i came off it with great difficulty in may. i had terrible headaches, acid reflux and allergy type symptoms as well as the brain fog. i still have trouble sleeping but generally feel so much better off it--it is habit forming.

i have been taking ambien for 3 1/2 years and i have alot of the same side effects as most of these people. for example, i get really bad stomach paons after taking it, i get terrible headaches and i also get memory loss. i think the doctors dont know everything about ambien and they should stop saying that it isnt addictive because i think it is.

I have started to seriously reconsider taking this medication. I am a flight attendant and was happy to hear about a so calle none addictive sleeping tablet. Tonight I am trying to kick the 'habit' and I am wide awake and feel very wired and strung out. I wake up with headaches and dehydration which lasts throughout the day. I feel like I am coming down with a bad head cold all the time and very irritable. My stomache is also starting to give me trouble, in knots all the time and achy. I think I will just have to make do with valerian and a good book.

I've been taking this medication for 2 days now. The only side effects I have had is falling asleep couple of hours later after taking the med.and the next day I've been a little sleepy. For me there has been no headaches, but a very relaxing high! THe reason behind me taking this med. is because I'm taking a lot of others pills that wire me up at night do to a strand of mental disorders. But I need them to help me sleep I taking 10mgs and haven't had any complaints!

I've taken Ambien off-and-on for the past 3 years for trouble falling asleep. It does make me fall asleep, but doesn't necessary lead to a full night's sleep. It's a pleasant calming "high" before I zonk out, but upon wakening I have headaches, feel thirsty and dehydrated, and a bit "dumb," slow, or out of it the next day.
