Atuss DS side effects

PLEASE KEEP AWAY FROM YOUR CHILD......................... my 9year old has had all the above side effect should be mark unsafe for kids......

My 8 year old was prescribed this medication and she was supposed to take it twice daily. I gave it to her once at 6pm and then at 11:30 am the next morning. An hour after this dosage we were at a restaurant and she said she needed to throw up and I took her to the bathroom and she BLACKED OUT and started foaming at the mouth. I thought my child was gone. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO TAKE THIS DRUG!!!!

My son's pediatrician prescribed Atuss DS to him, for cough and congestion. He acted like a whole different child!! He was moody,(Jackel and Hyde), and cried nonstop at night, wanted to sleep but couldn't rest well. He reminded me of someone on drugs, he was the worst child iv ever seen and he is a happy kid all the time, this is the worst medicine ive ever seen. BEWARE!!! I have cried with my son for the past 4 days waiting for it to get out of this system.

Same here. Pretty much like a zombie. Numbness and tingling in hands and feet. Spaced out. Stoned like in high school.

This was prescribed for my 3 year old by his pediatrician. He has been bouncing off the walls since he took it. Initially it makes him sleep for an hour or so and then he is hyper and a little mean for the next 8 hours. I am taking him off it.

I just took it, I fell asleep for a few minutes and for the last hour and a half I have felt a little dizzy and incoherent.

Rx for cough. I was already ill with fever and body pains. Not sure if this is a side effect of Atuss DS or not, but my tongue was numb and then my lips and cheeks were.
