My 6th time for Botox and ten days after the injections, I ended up in the ER with flu like symptoms, nausea, tingling in hands and feet, dry mouth, and extreme anxiety. After multiple, and expensive tests, the physician said that I was experiencing an adverse reaction to Botox. I cannot get the Dermatologist to call me back and my Family Practitioner isn't familiar with this condition. I am reaching out in the hopes of finding someone who can relate to this and welcome any feedback or referrals to help me.

I first had botox 3 weeks ago- I had one bruise from an injection site, but that didn't bother me. The worst was the anxiety- I felt constantly anxious and irritable, and I had horrible nightmares every night for about ten days. it got to the point where I dreaded going to sleep.

After a consult with another doctor, I was talked into more botox - I wanted a filler instead. After the 8th injection I passed out. They put bed flat and gave me the rest. last night I felt really tired, and today I am extremely weak. Hope its very temporary-had to call in sick , and waiting for a call back from the doctor.
