My 6 yr. old son transformed...a few days after taking the medication he became extremely hyper. He was unable to contain himself and became nonresponsive. He completely changed even having behavior issues in school...which were almost non-existent prior to taking this medicine. I highly recommend parents donot administer this medicine to their children.

My 8 month old has had crying fits like a colicky baby after each dose he has had. He cries non stop and seems like he is completley out of it. There is no soothing him. Will not be continuing this medication.

The Doctor prescribed this to my 2 1/2 month old son.
He was so different on this stuff. He didn't smile once on this medication, and he was just not his usual self. I stopped giving it to him right away. I thought something else was wrong.

I gave this to my 4 year old daughter and I don't even know where to start. My daughter was pretty sluggish the first two days but I thought it was because she did not feel good. She started feeling a little bit better so I stopped the medication. My daughter is a totally different person. She is so hyper I can not settle her down she is jumping off furniture, and I talk to her and it is like she can not hear me. Her eyes are dialated and she acts like she can not stand herself or her skin. My uncle works for the ER and I called him he said that she is having withdraws from the medication. That it is a family to sudifed and everyone responds different. I would be very careful before you give your children or yourself this medication.

My 6 1/2 year old son is in la-la land with this medication. After only one dose his pupils are dialated, he appears to feel uneasy and he seems to not be able to function. He has completely lost his appetite and only wants to remain still. It is as if he is hallucinating but he does not know how to describe the feeling. I will not give him a drop more. Very, very bad for children!
