I had gotten stitches, The doctor gave me cephalexin 2 times a day, The second day of taking it, I've been getting rashes all over my neck face and it have been spreading. And I have little red dotes around my body. I stopped taking them today.

i just started to take this cephalexin(april 19 2004) i'm taking it for an infected stitches from a fistual bein put in for dialysis i have chronic kidney failure so if you no that this will hurt my kidneys please tell me i'm 17% kidney fution almost ready for dialysis thanks linda

Was prescribed Cephalexin in the ER after stitches. Took it 4x a day for 5 days. After completed, I developed a rash all over my body -- I have been itching for 4 days now with no relief. Tried Benadryl, Claritin, Zyrtec, Cortisone cream and Calamine lotin. No relief in sight-- I will never take this antibiotic again.
