Hello,
I have been on Clonazepam for a month and a half or so. I just recently whined off of Topamax and I am taking Depakote for bipolar. I love this drug. I have a long list of anxiety disorders tied to depression and this helps to calm those but almost immediately orgasm became very hard. nearly impossible. my wife didn't mind though. I am still young and verily so as long as we have the time it is achievable but it was disheartening at first until i saw on this sight that others were experiencing it. knowing now that it is a pill i think ill use it to my full advantage.

I was prescribed Clonazepam for anxiety about 3 months ago coupled with a generic version of zooloft. I am definately starting to feel insane. My head aches at random times. I do still drink and smoke leafy substances, which i know is not recomended, but I am still in college and I feel sometimes like its the only way to meet ppl, drinking/partying, especially in places where there isn't much else. I want to get off the drug, but I am so afraid of the side effects. I don't really feel better on it. because I like having energy, I am a spunky girl and it takes away my spunk. I just wanna know how to function in society. I get nervous around new ppl, especially bosses/or anyone in my field, if I don't take the drug, but I can't even really tell if it is helping. At first it was fine, but now my head hurts all over/ headache. I forget things, which may be the sertraline, but regardless I want to get off of it. I feel more insane now than I did before.

hi, i'm a 53yr old female with fibromyalgia. I was diagnosed with lupus in Aug. 05. My dr. prescribed be 0.5 mg of Clonazepam to help reduce stress and to help me sleep. My pain during the night from the fibromyalgia is severe. I still can't sleep at night, more so waking up with muscle pains when I take the med. I've told my dr. about this and the dr. has told me to stay on it. I don't know if it's the med or just ironic. If anyone has had similar side effects, please email me and let me know. ******

hi a am a 30 year old single mom of a ten year old. I have been on clonazepam for over five years. I developed panic attacks shortly after having a surgery to correct my heart. I was born with two electrical pathways, and would have heart palpitations that lead me to the emergeny room several times. I am currently taking 1mg three times a day. I would like to get off the drug, and have heard from a friend that I causes damage to your liver. Has anyone heard of that? If anyone has heard please let me know.

I had been on 2 mg. per day for 5 years and really wanted to get off of the clonazepam. It really helped my anxiety, but I don't like taking anything for long periods of time. My psychiatrist is helping me reduce the amount very, very slowly. Actually, 1/4 mg, at a time and over the last seven months I am down to 1/4 mg, am and 1/2 pm. She says it is best to really go slowly as it is a hard medication to get off of. I have had no bad side affects getting dosage reduced. I do feel better and because it is a nerve tranquilizer I am getting much more feeling and sensitivity throughout my system. It was affecting my sexual satisfaction and now I am enjoying sex more and have a lot more sensitivity and orgasm is easier.

I've been on Clonazepam for 2 years, for me it's great. It stops flash backs of past abuse. It stops the sudden stomach cramp you get when the past creeps up on me. I love it. Also helps me to sleep...I have Fibromyalgia, which won't let you sleep and this lil pill allows me to sleep peacefully 7-8 hours. They give this to soldiers who have nitemares about past experiences. Have had no adverse side effects.

I was just prescribed Clonazepam this past Wednesday for sleep and by Friday I was in a deep depression and crying for no reason. I am already on an anti-depression medication and several other meds for severe back problems and other conditions. I don't know whether the Clonasepam isn't mixing well or whether I might me going through menopause or what? I was hoping this medication would work for me, it sure helped me sleep for the first time in years! What do you think the problem is?

I have been on Clonazepam for 2 1/2 years for anxiety/panic disorder. This drug tremendously helped me get through me anxious times, but I truly regret ever starting it...I wish the doctor had told me just how addictive it is.

I am now wishing to discontinue this pill, I am done with ALWAYS feeling exhausted! I feel trapped in a web as I feel quite dependant on it. If you're thinking of starting this, think long and hard about whether or not you want to become physically and mentally addicted to a substance first. I know how hard anxiety can be, but there are so many other ways to get through it.

I have been taking Clonazepam for about 3 months. I went from one a day to now 3 a day and they really help my panick attacks and anxiety. The only side affect I have noticed being a man is it becomes very difficult to have an orgazsm. Not sure if that is the stress or the meds. But I have been under allot of stress before and never had any sexual issues.

After taking Clonazepam, my anxiety lessened and i found myself able to sleep more deeply and easily. I take upwards of .5 to 1.5mg at nightime to sleep. Itr calms me down and at times, can make you feel a little euphoric. I wouldnt say that the euphoria is a negative side effect but, some otehrs might view it as such. Enjoy sleeping and living a relatively anxiety free life.

I take Clonazepam for sleep. Basically it is an anti-anxiety pill for me, because it calms me down if I'm panicky. I have a hard time falling asleep and staying asleep, and 2mg a night at bedtime relaxes me enough so that I can sleep well. I called a hotline once about Clonazepam and pregnancy and they said the risks were very minimal and only in the 3rd trimester. They had no cases were taking Clona affected the fetus at all. It all depends on how much you are taking, is the real question. One word of caution, this drug is an anti-seizure drug as well, and you would be well advised to come off this drug EXTREMELY SLOWLY as it is moderately addictive, and will cause shaking, trembling, and severe muscle spasms when you try to come off it. I noticed even long after I had stopped the drug I was still experiencing great difficulty with this. Eventually I simply had to go back on it, since other "sleeping" drugs did not work as effectively. NO other side effects have been noticed by myself. Good Luck to you all.

after only a couple of days of using just half a tablet, diarhia started. not claiming that it by itself caused that situation, but combined with other prescriptions i am taken, that i was not having that problem prior to.

this medication should have more experimentation performed prior to being place on the market.
