Clonidine and dry mouth

I have been on clonodine for almost three months now, with no problems. not only has it regulated my bloodpressure, but my hot flashes which were horrible, are almost nonexistent. The dry mouth comes from not drinking enough water. You have to drink 6 to 8 glasses a day.

I took clonidine for only 2 days at 0.1mg's and had to call my boss to come home. I could barely function. I am a nanny and I couldn't even care for the kids. Dry mouth, foggy head, light headed, itchy, felt all in all terrible. I went off of it right away and the symptoms are gone. I will never take this med again

I started taking Clonidine( .03mgs 1-2 times a day) about 2 months ago, since then I have not had a full night sleep, I wake up with foot pain when I go to get up, I have extreme dry mouth, and I don't really think Clonidine is doing anything for the hot flashes.

my mother has been taking clonidine for 6 days and has a dry mouth, thoat, her sinuses are affeted also. The worst thing is her tounge has lost a layer of skin.
