Daytrana and fingers

My son is also on the Daytrana Patch @ 30mg. He also has a bad "nail picking" habit, his fingers & toes. He has been on it for 4 months and his Eating/Sleeping has not improved. I understand that side effects may take several weeks to wear off but 4 months????
I called his doctor, who is his pediatrician, and asked about this and asked if they would lower the dose to see if anything might improve, I was denied that. I am going to take him to see a "Specialist" and leave his pediatrician to do his yearly physicals and flu shots!!
He is also having an issue with "bed-wetting", they state it is not a side effect, but it has been reported in higher occurrences in children who use these medications, not only Daytrana but others. He never had a problem with this prior to this medication...since it isn't an actual side effect, I cannot report it as such!!

My son is on the 15mg patch. He is developing OCD type behaviors-right now it is an obsession with his fingernails-always picking at them, getting dirt out from underneath them, even when there is none. We have tried adderall and this. I think I am going to try something natural. Any suggestions? He also won't eat or drink all day so we need to go a different route.
