Desogen and stress

I'm 21 years old. I'm in my last year of college and student teaching. I've only been taking the pill for a week. I thought it was the stress of my last few classes of something for school that was making me this way. I originally was thinking the stress was changing my mood. My boyfriend and I have been arguing and tonight we realized we started all this bickering when I started the pill. I've been extremely moody. I've also been nauseous in the mornings, had high anxiety, been tired and lazy, and just overall "blah" feeling. I agree with someones post I read before about trying different pills to find what works for you. In high school I was on orthotricyclen-lo and I don't recall any of these effects. I took Loestrin for a month just a few months ago and stopped after the first pack because it made me feel the same way. I think I'm going to have to stop this one too because I can't stand feeling like this.

I've been on Apri for 3 months now and have been severely depressed the entire time. I cry over the slightest things. I thought it was just stress, but now that I see others have had this problem I'm going to stop taking this drug immediately so I can get my life back.

I have been on many different birth control pills for the past four years. My first was Orth tricyclin, that made me very tired, withdrawn and irritable. I was switched to Desogen one year ago and have had MANY problems. I have been very irritable, very low sex drive, and short tempered. I will be looking for a new birth control ASAP now that I know that these side effects aren't chalked up to just stress. Thanks for all of the others who have added their 2 cents to help me make my decision.

I've been on for about a month. My skin is clearer than its ever been, my sex-drive has increased and my appetite has decreased (this is definately a good thing!). I do get occasional head aches but they could be stress related, and a little spotting, but I think my body just needs to adjust. So far, I like it a lot!
