Doxycycline Hyclate and urination

I started taking 20 mg periostat doxycycline hyclate to treat my acne. Prescription cream (retinol A) was not working 100% because acne on my chin kept coming back. I find this med to be very harsh on my stomach, i felt some sort of nausea from time to time. I drank at least 2 cups of water after taking it and also took it with food. After 10 days, I couldn't continue. I don't know if I should have taken it longer, maybe twice a day (instead of once) but my acne is now back. I am going back to see my dermatologist for alternatives. I also noticed that combined with my birth control pill, I had some sort of need to urinate more frequently.

Have been on doxycycline for 3 1/2 weeks for eczema. It has really messed with my urination. Can't seem to completely empty my bladder. Anyone else have that problem?

i was prescribed the medicine for pelvic inflammatory desease and i have a severe urge to go urinate very frequently i dont know if that is normal since it is worse at night. I also feel very run down and irritable i have been fighting with everyone since im on this medicine.

I had a D&C two days ago and was put on doxycycline. I'm now having to urinate every hour. Don't know if this is the side effect of the med or the D&C.

I've experienced vaginal itching, bloating, and waves of nausea as well as a more frequent need to urinate
