Enbrel side effects

Has anyone experienced uncontrollable diarrhea? My mom recently went off of Enbrel and has had terrible diarrhea. It started about 10 days after stopping the Enbrel injections. The doctors have taken multiple blood tests, EUS scope from her throat down into the stomach, pancreas etc. She has had a CAT SCAN, colonoscopy, antibiotic and antidiaherral medications. NOTHing has helped! She is 5ft. 1" and weighs about 77lbs. NO matter what she eats, or even if she doesn't eat she has diarrhea. No pain, no gas, just a lot of gurgling in the stomach especially when she lays down. Any help would be appreciated as the doctors are baffled!

My husband is currently injecting enbrel, I am concerned with his mood swings and lack of desire. He also complains of feeling like he has a cold, no one else is sick. He has three types of psoriasis and he also has ichytheosis, (spelling) His skin looks beautiful and feels baby smooth, but his Dr, Jeckyl Mr. H. act is getting old. Any one else experiencing personality issues? Concerned Wife

My Mom just died on June 24, 2008 of a massive heart attack....out of NOWHERE....no prior heart problems...

She had been on Enbrel for three years for RA...

I had moderate/severe psoriasis for 6 years and was on Enbrel for three months. It cleared my psoriasis completely and I didn't have a singe side effect!! Now I have new insurance and a new dermatologist and she won't prescribe me psoriasis because she says its too dangerous. My prescription creams don't work. Its been a year since I've been off of Enbrel and my psoriasis has came back with evengence. Argh!! GimmeSomeEnbrel!!

I am a 34 year old female and have been on Enbrel for over a year for Psoriasis. I hate being on medications and have been scared ever since starting to inject but it has done wonders for my psoriasis and don't ever want to go off of it. I have had no side effects whatsoever but am always scared for the long run. Anyhow, everyone always posts negatives, so I thought I would post a positive. My skin is not 100% cleared, but there are major improvements.

Have been taking for 3 months and notice no difference--positive or negative.
doctor said this means it is not working for me. Plaquenil seems to work best, alone.

I have two dollar size welts in the area I gave myself the enbrel on Friday the welts did not appear till Saturday they are hot with no pain not sure what to do

Insomnia and fatigue

I have been taking enbrel for almost 4 months now for a really severe case psoriasis. I have noticed of course the injection sites are sore, however I am so tired sometimes I can't hardly move . Is this a side affect ,it said fatique is one side affect but this is more than just being tired. Thank you

I realize your post is 6 mths old, but I'll try anyway. Are you taking it for RA or PA? Inflammatory conditions increase your risk of heart disease.

I have been on Enbrel for over a year and am a 51 year old female. I recently had a heart attack with my RCA 99% blocked. No family history, low blood pressure, great cholesterol, no weight problem, healthy eater, history of smoking. Any common info would be appreciated. It has been eight weeks since my heart attack and they say I can begin my injections (which I have) but skeptical!

Does it cause the arteries to block?
