hiii its jacqueline again.
this will be my fifth day on femcon, and i have been so dizzy, and nauseous..i cant stand it! i'm hungry all the time but nothing seems to appease to my likings..i've been very moody and irritable..little things that didn't annoy me, do now..i feel like i have a massive hangover when i wake up in the morning, and im always tired throughout the day.
i haven't had any experiences with acne before the pill, and im hoping i don't get any either.
my period is a lot lighter than it was before the pill also, but these side effects are killing me! i think im going to stick it out for 3 months and see if things get better..

I just started Femcon.I was a little skeptical on starting it after reading other peoples experiences.I just came off the NuvaRing, which i had breakthrough bleeding. It wasn't bad but it just was annoying. maybe i am impatient to wait it out but we will see how this pill does.I just want to be free of the bleeding. One thing i will say i haven't experienced any mood swings like i did on the nuvaring.

Thank God, I found this site.

I have only been four days into Femcon and I have never been so miserable in my life. I haven't been able to sleep at night for days, the stomach pains have been excruciating and my period is heavier than ever...and this was supposed to slow to down!!!

To anyone who is thinking of taking this pill, read the experiences that I and others have had with it. Because of it, I haven't been able to function in my life and I am behind in everything. I'd recommend other pills besides this one and Loestrin. Yasmin, when I was taking it, was really good.

I've had experiences with depression and birth control pills in the past...Femcon Fe is no acception. I am now in the 5th month. After the first month, I was experiencing loss of appetite, and nausea anytime I ate anything. During the day, I could barely stay awake, and at night, I kept waking up constantly. My doctor said to keep taking Femcon and the symptoms would improve...I kept at it. After almost losing my boyfriend to one of my RIDICULOUS mood swings, the symptoms seemed to be at bay. Two months later, almost overnight, I'm back to feeling "crazy." The headaches are back. I'm lethargic all the time, experience a lack of energy, no appetite, don't want to get up and go to work, am BEYOND exhausted ALL day long, have trouble staying asleep, resent my boyfriend's existence for NO reason at all, have sore breasts that have seemingly gotten bigger (let's be real ladies, if the price for bigger boobs is feeling emotionally erratic...it's not worth it!), had HORRIBLE period cramps, oh, and the nausea! The emotional instability is the worst. I feel like I can't get a grip on reality and that I'm completely disconnected with my former self. That's all I want back. I really liked my former self!!! : ( It's not worth it to go through life feeling depressed.

I'm shocked reading all these experiences with Femcon FE. I got on line looking for answers. I have been on it for four months and experiencing terrible migraines, mood swings, and the worst periods ever. My periods feel like I'm in junior high again, terrible cramps, nausea, headaches, depression, I'm hunched over with a heating pad every month. Only this month I haven't gotten my period and I took two pregnancy tests and they were negative, as I lie here with cramps that I've had for four days with no bleeding and a migraine, nausea, I can't wait.... NO MORE FEMCON FE!!!

Hi ladies, my Dr just gave me 4 mos of sample packs for Femcon Fe. I've read that it's the chew able version of Ovcon, and I haven't read this many bad experiences with Ovcon. I wonder if anyone has had a good experience with this drug and am a little worried about starting it. I am going to finish out my last pack of Yaz and I guess we'll go from there. This will be my 6th pill since 2003, as I have had breakthrough bleeding with all the others, including Yaz. I did read on Femcon's website that this is a good pill to take to stop breakthrough bleeding, has anyone taken this pill and NOT had breakthrough bleeding??? Please someone let me know!

I have been on Femcon FE for 5 days now and am not sure if what I am experiencing is a side effect or not. I would love anyone's opinion... Starting day 2 every time I eat, immediately after my intestines start cramping and I have to go to have a very unpleasant bowel movement. This also happens in the morning and at night before bed. After I do that I feel better but then get hungry and eat and it happens again. I have also had a lot of gas and some stomach pains. I have no fever and nothing has changed in my diet. The only thing that has changed is that I started this pill. I am debating about calling my GYN and having her put me back on Ortho Tri Cyclen LO. I had no problems at all with that pill. What do you think? Is what I am experiencing a side effect of FemCon FE?
