Flagyl and c diff

To combat the metallic taste I recommend Sprite to swallow pills. It seems to cut down on horrible taste of pills. If you feel nauseated, you need to eat! I know it sounds crazy, but it is what happens on this insidious medication. Also, you may drink pills down with KEFIR which is loaded with pro-biotics. I also recommend taking a pro-biotic supplement, but not within 2 hours of dosing of with flagyl. it does help. Cream of wheat and toast are about the only thing I stomach on this med. And, lots of yogurt! It is quite possibly the worst thing I have experienced as far as a prescription goes. But, I can't have C Diff, so it must be taken. Lastly, do not drink alcohol 3 days after your LAST dose or you will get very, very, sick. My doctor told me this, but I know some people may have not been advised of that.

I was prescribed this drug for C-Diff.
This is my 2nd time taking this drug for the C-Diff.
It absolutely makes me so miserable,
physically and mentally.
I feel bad all over.
It's hard to describe, you feel like
you're going to die or something.
I have an extremely bad headache.
My shoulders and hands hurt.
I ache and feel weak.
