Fosamax and ankles

Can Fosamx D 70 mg be the cause of Ecchymosis Petechiae, I have developed what looks like an "under the skin" rash, on the ankles and upward on the leg, sometimes dark and also gets lighter, Doctor is doing blood work now, concerned about my platelets, it is possible there is no relation to Fosamax, but I am curious if anyone else has had this symptom. Took myself of Fosomax after 7 months of severe ankle and leg pain, neck and jaw pain. Dr was not happy with my decision, am feeling back to normal except I still have very bad lingering pain in both of my ankles. Hope that this subsides in time. Dr. is no help, just wants to give me pain pills. Have been off Fosomax about 2 months now, never will go back again. Tried Actonel some time back and had similar experiences along with headaches. Do not want to live with these problems. Will exercise and increase vitamin suppliements.

I have been taking 70 mg of Fosamax weekly for 3 years or more. At first I noticed numbness at the end of one big toe. Some years later the numbness and tingling has spread to all toes, the whole foot and the ankles. I feel that I am walking like "stiff dolly". Now my feet are cramping regularly. I am also taking Lipitor. Which drug will I blame??
My hair is also falling out and I have mental lethargy and difficulty sleeeping.
