I began taking Gabitril nearly two months ago. This was prescibed to me for a myelopathy at the C-2 level of my spine. The chest tightness, increase eurythmia (heart beat) and palpitations seem to accompany this drug with my health. Also, four days upon starting the Gabitril, for the first time in 32 years of my life I have menstruated for nearly the duration of the drug. I have been to an OBGYN who cannot figure what the problem is but has tried not one but two separate, potent hormone pills to stop the menstruation - TO NO AVAIL. The menstruation becomes more prevelant when taking the Gabitril.
