Guaifen-C and sinus

I was prescribed Guaifen fo a cold that settled in my sinus area. It has left my eyes extremely dry, and red and wrinkled all around. I am now very sensetive to light, and it affected my eyesight.

Have been taking for over a year. When I ran out a month ago I got the worst ear ache of my life. My sinus' blocked up and busted my ear drums. I have never experienced pain like that in my life. I take just once a morning. 600/120 type pills. I sleep on the average 9 hours a night. I'm now truly scared to go without it. My pharmasist said not to take it on the day of my upcoming marathon in June due to possibility of heart rate issues. She didn't mention anything about dehydration. I'll be taking it the very next day.

I was prescribed Guaifen 600Mg tablets to help alleviate sinus and chest congestion. It seemed to help for the first day, but today at noon I literally thought I was going to die. I experienced severe dizziness to the point I had to hold my head up. I was ubable to stand or walk. My co-workers said all the color disappeared from my face and my hands, feet and arms felt as though I was standing an ice cold shower. My co-workers took my blood pressure and pulse and they were normal, It took at least 30 minutes before I could get up.

Taking 2 pills per day with 3 pills per day of Amoxicillin for sinus and ear ache. Severe stomach and lower back pain. Alot of gas. Crabby (probably due to only sleeping 1 to two hours without waking up).

felt like my head was tingling, very dry sinus and mouth, constant coughing when I laid down, and wide awake at 3:00 am

i can't sleep, have lost my appetite and find the constricted
blood flow has at least a small impact on my sex life (i am a male). the narcotic buzz is constant and seems kinda speedy.
it does drain your sinus...i'm gonna go off it as soon as the anti biotic that i'm also taking has kicked in enough.
