Kenalog and fear

I had a Kenalog shot about 6 weeks ago in my face for what my doctor thought was swollen tissue after a surgery, however the Kenalog has eaten away at my tissue creating a "dent" in the side of my face. This has been a really terrible and frightening experience, and I am very concerned that the tissues will not regenerate themselves over time. He has told me that it could take a year for the tissues to regenerate themselves. Please, anyone out there who has had a similar experience with tissue atrophy after a Kenalog shot, please would you let me know if this tissues really ever came back gradually? Thanks so much.

I posted last month about the indention in my hip and the terrible periods.The dent in my hip is 2 inches wide and 2 inches long now and the periods are not as irregular but extremly heavy,I don't want to leave my house in fear of bleeding through my pad and tampon onto my clothes.I had a consultation with a plastic surgean today and he told me the atrophy is permanent and will possible get worse.He is going to refere me to another plastic surgean that is familiar with sculptra because he has not had any luck with any other type of fillers not even fat injections.I have an appointment with an attorney next week to discuss a possible lawsuit against the doctor who did this to me.I don't see where it makes a difference if the atrophy is in the arm or the butt it's still a permanent disfiguration.The doctor who gave me the kenalog injection told me that in most cases the atrophy repairs itself in about a year.I have spoken with 2 other doctors and both have said it is permant and it takes a series of Sculptra inections to fill it and that is only a temporary fix.

I was on Accutane for cystic acne. On my 5th visit, I asked the PA of my dermatologist what I could do about a cyst that had been on my face for going on 2 months. She said, "Easy, we'll inject you". Before I knew it, I was signing a waiver and they were giving me 3 injections instead of one. I told them I only wanted one, but they said I might as well get three because it costs the same price and that this stuff was like candy. I was pressured into it and 2 weeks later a dent appeared on my face where one of the 2 additional injections that I did not really want was performed. It has been 2 months since the injection and I fear it is getting worse. I am researching this on the internet before I go back to the dermatologist. I have been back once since it occured and met with a PA again. He did not know what it was or what to do. I would like to dermatologist to take my picture and show it to everyone before receiving an injection. If anyone out there has been successfully treated for an indention on there face, please fill me in.
