I received my 3rd injection yesterday for lower back pain.. The fist 2 injections were fine nothing really to complain about, however yesterday I was relaxed it was my 3rd time. I felt a very strange sensation going up and then down to my leg on the left side. When I got up off the table slowly I was very unstable and dizzey. I could not walk without feeling I was going to fall. I walked slowly with the aide of a nurse then I got a horrifc pain in my head over my left eye. I was nauseas. They gave me 2 tynenol which was a joke for a pain like this then 2 advills then oxygen for the pain my husband tells me it took about 45 mins to start felling a little better I was very weak. Today I feel better just left with a normal headace. I dont think I would have gone again if this
was my first time. Can someone answer me and tell me if this was something that could happen to anyone. The Dr. and nurse poo pooed it saying if it was a headace due to the kenalog it would go away when I layed down> I could not lay down the pain was so bad. Thank you all for reading this

On OCt. 20th, 2005 I received injections of Kenalog with lidocaine and epinephrine (total 2cc.s) into 6-8 sites in atypical scar tissue and lesions. Ten minutes later I went into anaphylactic shock and was given 2 shots of benadryl in my hips. Didn't help much, 911 was called and the paramedics injected me with more stuff and I was taken to the emergency room. Ever since then, the muscles under my left eye constantly twitch. The doctor thinks I was allergic to the lidocaine and wants to give me more Kenalog injections. I have no prior drug allergies. Did anyone else get an allergic reaction to Kenalog?

A doctor placed a diluted Kenalog injection under both my eyes for hard tissue forming from trying to transfer fat. Now
I have skin atrophy under both eyes. The left is twice as bad as the right because he placed a second injection six weeks after the first only under the left eye. I have had fillers injected since Jan., 2004, which has helped but the skin looks like dried out onion skin. The cosmetic surgeon who is helping me the fillers says that I have a good chance of the skin tissue regenerating itself and maybe all of it. I know that it takes a long time; he says about 2 years. It has been
one year now since those horrible injections. Please let me know what you think about the tissue regenerating and also Kenalog caused my skin to redden ( I have very fair skin) and darken in placed where it migrated. Will this color eventually change back to normal along with the skin tissue?
I certainly hope that you have good news! How long?

I am a 43 year old woman with a recurring eye infection. I had a kenalog shot to the back of my left eye last month and am now having my second period in the same month . I had originally thought it may be due to some perimenopausal symptoms, however after reading through some other responses I see that this is probably due to the kenalog. I have had this second period for eight days now and it has been extremely heavy.

On December 10 of 07, my 4 y.o. son had a tonsillectomy and a intramuscular injection of Kenalog - 40 in to his turbinate of his nose. a week later my wife and I noticed a problem with his left eye. Went to opthamologist and he said he was blind in his left eye. It is not recommended to give Kenalog by route of interburinate due to severe cases of blindness.
