Ketoconazole and hair loss

I have some sort of fungus on my scalp and was prescribed Keteconazole to be applied twice a day. I have been using it now for a little over a week and I know am experiencing hair loss on the applied areas. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi, I've used Ketoconazole for bad dandruff, and on the paper work you recieve from the pharmacy it does say that Hair loss can be a side effect. But I would check w/your doctor.
