Lactaid Ultra and lunch

On 3/21/08, my 7 year-old son took a Lactaid Ultra pill at school right before lunch. This was something his doctor recommended because we though he was starting to have some lactose intolerance issues, which run in my family. About an hour he was in the nurses office throwing up all over her floor. We though it was a virus or something he ate.

On 3/22/08, my son seemed fine and even played in a lacrosse game in the morning. Before eating lunch (a turkey and cheese sandwich), he took another Lactaid Ultra pill and sure enough, about 1-2 hours he was in the bathroom throwing up everywhere. He was also having diarrhea and severe stomach pains.

We still don't know what it is, but we're going to forgo the Lactaid Ultra.
