I have a question about leukeran. I took it for 15 yrs great years I might add. I went off the drug in 1995 and now I am having probems again. The doctors do not want to give me leukeran again due to secondary cancers. I want to know what are my chances of getting cancer I took 8 mg to start with then within 3 years was taper down to 4 mg which I stayed on until 1995. I want to know why they are so concerned now. Believe I would take leukeran again in a heart beat because it helped me so much. Now I am facing losing my sight. Any information is appreciated.
