Levaquin Leva-Pak and ear infection

I have been on Leva-pak for 2 days and have not been able to sleep. I have been sleeping for an hour at a time, I then wake up and can't sleep again for another hour. I AM EXHAUSTED!!!! I am taking it for a severe sinus infection and double ear infection.

I gave to husband this morning and he is not himself, called doctor she said stop taking. BUT she prescribes to all her patients. She will keep in mind, my comments. He is extremely disoriented and in a fog, after ONE PILL! Who can help? This should be taken off market considering it cost $25. A PILL! It sickens me the FDA allows us as human guinea pigs! Would appreciate more info on this medication current standing.
