I am 61. I was recently prescribed levaquin for an intestinal infection. Began having rapid heart beat, trembling, shortness of breath, floaters in my eyes, itching, thick tongue, lips tingling, irritability, sweating, feeling of brain fog. Felt like I was having a panic attack. Stopped taking medicine after 6th day. Now I can hardly move my head. My left shoulder and neck are hurting very badly -- feels like muscle spasms. After reading these posts about levaquin, I'm sure that is the levaquin has caused these problems.

Started a 5 day 750mg Leva-pak on Sunday after amoxicillin didn't touch my bacterial throat infection of unknown origin. My husband mentioned these boards full of complaints, but I was so miserable that I said I would be fine--never had a problem with a drug before.
Sunday brought swollen, painful knuckles. Monday had palpitations and painful sensitivity to light. Tuesday night I was wired and couldn't sleep at all, my heart was racing, and I had asthmatic wheezing and serious shortness of breath and borrowed my husband's inhaler. The pharmacy said insomnia wasn't a side-effect (which was misinformation) and I'd be fine as long as I didn't have a rash (more misinformation). I was finally feeling on the mend as the fever had broken Tue night and I attributed the symptoms to the infection. Then I took my next dose of levaquin.
Within 10 minutes of taking it, I was considering a trip to the ER. My head was splitting, I was extremely sensitive to the slightest motion, sound, or light, my heart was racing again, and I felt violently ill to my stomach all within 30 minutes. My throat swelled to the point I could hardly breathe or swallow my spit. My temp that had been normal since the early morning hours also shot up to 101. It was so drastic and sudden that there is no possibility the symptoms came from anything but the medicine. Short of contracting anthrax, I won't ever take this again.
AND my throat is worse! They put me on augmenting now. Wish I'd gone on it in the first place.

I started taking Levequin before a procedure I was getting (cystoscopy) and was told to take ot for 3 days, 500 mg. The first day i took it I had severe insomnia/heart racing/shortness of breath but I attributed this to nerves due to the proecdure I was getting , the night of the procedure I slept fine but I was also doped up on anesethia. Yesterday was my last night of Levaquin and I once again was up all night. Not only that but I have severe anxiety, feelings of hoplelessness, dread and just worry all day long. I don't knwo what to do. I am 31 years old and 2 weeks ago was feeling fine. I actually took some xanax last night for the anxiety and it really did nothing although it usually does help when I have minor anxiety. I really do not know what to do. I have to go to work every day feeling depressed, achy and lethargic. I just made another dr appt. 3rd dr in 4 days. I have lunesta at home but it rarely works for me. Any suggestions to help me sleep and get rid of the jitters??

I have never, ever responded to any of these "side effects" websites before! As a healthy person who very rarely requires medication, I had to find something on the web that would "explain" my suspected side effects for the Levaquin I've been taking for the last three days. This was prescribed for a UTI. The "new" side effect (that I didn't see addressed anywhere here) was what I can only describe as "asthma-like," to include wheezing, coughing, and shortness of breath. Anyone else with this symptom? I was also overcome with a great sense of futility that just scared me. I am normally a positive, "the-sun'll-come-up-tomorrow" type person, but this just knocked me for a loop!

Heartburn; shortness of breath; feels like a huge balloon is inside me, from the bottom of my chest, to my throat. Have difficulty even talking. Now there's headaches at nighttime. I'm a very healthy 40-yr-old woman, yet I feel like I'm embarking on something very bad. I'm drinking bottles of bubbly water and rolls of Rolaids to get myself to burp and relieve the pressure. My internist doesn't think it's the Levaquin, but I thought it from day 1.

I've had bronchitis for approximately a month. I finally went to the doctor on Feb. 7th for treatment. He put me on Prednisolone and wrote me a script for Levaquin. He told me not to take it unless I presented with fever and green mucous discharge, so I never filled it. Five days later I had 103 fever and felt like crap. My husband took me to the doctor where I got a chest x-ray, which was clear, a shot of Rocephin (sp?) antibiotic, a shot of Decadron steroid, Ambien to help me sleep, and 12 days of 750 mg of Levaquin. I truly believe my problems are caused from the Levaquin. I've had nausea, shortness of breath, insomnia even with the Ambien, night sweats, headaches, mini panic attacks, shall I go on.....Today will be day 7 of treatment. I can't continue taking it. I can't function this way. I'll be glad to get another shot of Rocephin for treatment. NO MORE LEVAQUIN!!

I was prescribed Levaquin 1000 mg. for 5 days for pneumonia the last week of December 2006. I was also prescribed Prednisone. Everything I ate tasted like metal. A couple of days after I started taking the Levaquin I started experiencing muscle cramps in my rib cage which are so severe it makes me double over in pain. After more than a year I still have the muscle cramps which now include not only my rib cage, but the arch of my feet and sometimes legs. I have a torn tendon in my left arm which didn't happen until about a month ago, but I am sure it is caused from muscle damage from the Levaquin. I am also on Advair Discus 250 which I didn't take before using the Levaquin. I didn't require inhalers or other medication before the pneumonia. My doctor now says I have COPD caused from asthma and chronic bronchitis. I used an Albuterol inhaler when I first got sick because the pneumonia was so bad. I thought after taking the Levaquin I would get back to normal. But even after the infection was cleared up I would get out of breath, so I returned to my doctor. She did an x-ray and said I had COPD and prescribed the inhalant. What I don't understand is that I didn't have breathing problems before the Pneumonia. I didn't have joint pain and muscle cramps either. I have had to quit working this past year because of it. I cannot go without the Advair, I can no longer walk long distances without pain. I have constant muscle pain just trying to do normal housework. How long do the effects last? Must be a lifetime.

I had a cough for a few days, which didn't improve,my wife insisted that I go to the Doctor to have it checked. The Doctor determined that I was either getting over a slight case of pneumonia, or it was just beginning. He prescribed LEVAQUIN 500 MG for 10 days. I took the first pill in the evening of Feb 3rd. When I went to bed, I was not able to sleep, I was short of breath, my heart rate went to 140, I did not sleep the entire night, my heartbeat was also irregular and I have a terrible headache. The next AM, I went to the Doctor and he said that I should continue with the LEVAQIUN - and that the symptoms were not related to the drug. - I have had and irregular heartbeat in the past, but no like this. The Doctor insists that the LEVAQUIN did not cause the problem. Then he put me on Toprol - to slow the heart rate. I took the Toprol and took the 2nd dose of LEVAQUIN last night. My heart rate is down, but still irregular, I didn't sleep, have anxiety, shortness of breath and don't feel right. Went back to the Doctor today and he still insists that the LEVAQUIN didn't cause this. Thank God that I found this website and others, I have stopped taking the LEVAQUIN. I already feel better, and hope that I don't get any other of the side effects.

I was diagnosed as having Bronchitis. I have cardio vascular disease; have had 4 heart attacks. A doctor prescribed Levaquin 500mg for seven days. I started getting pain in my left leg about the 4th day of taking the Levaquin. I started having difficulty breathing and found myself gasping for air especially at night. I just thought the infection was getting worse and I finished the 7 day of pills. After that time I got a rash on my body, shortness of breath continued, my eyes were swelling up, had little urine flow, got cramps in my feet, thighs, neck and arms and I gained 20 pounds of fluid even though I was not eating much and swelled up like a water balloon in my abdomen and down to my feet. I went back to the doctors office, had a different doctor which she said I was having heart problems. She ran blood tests to check the heart and liver, took another x-ray, gave me a drug to test my urine flow and when the results of the blood test came back I was told I had an enlarged heart, fluid in my heart cavity and referred to schedule an appointment in two weeks with a cardiologist.
Then the doctor asked me if the previous doctor knew I had heart disease and I said yes. This doctor informed me it looks like you had an allergic reaction to something. She then prescribed a blood pressure and diuretic for me to relive fluid and released me, I took the diuretic one day did not relieve any additional fluid became constipated and I immediately stopped taking the water pill.
I then went to a third doctor four days later since I got no help from the first or second doctor for the shortness of breath, fluid retention, swelling and shortness of breath.
This doctor asked me what medication I had taken I informed him Levaquin and he proceeded to tell me they were having trouble and bad effects in some people taking Levaquin. I felt relieved because I had read the warnings that came with the medication and I confirmed I had certain allergic effects from the drug. The doctor then took a blood and urine test told me to come back in four days until the blood test results come in. I am extremely angry at the medical profession and the treatment I have received for their failure to treat the side effects of the prescribed medication I was given, I even read Lefaquin has caused cardiac collapse in some patients so why on earth would a doctor prescribe this medicine to a person with cardio vascular disease? I am sitting here suffering the side effects and they are out of the office not having a concern to my suffering just lining their pockets Monday through Friday with cash, Our medical and drug systems are broken and no one is attempting to repair them to my knowledge.

I was giving Levaguin for a sinus infection/upper resp. infecton poss.
brincittis. after taking this medicaton for 5 days I began to realize the side effects this drug was giving me. I was feeling funny all over like I was in a fog or sometimes I felt like I could not carry on a confersation. My legs did not hurt but they felt very heavy likeI had weights strapped to them and sometimes my arms would feel this way to. I started having tightness in my jaws shortness of breath and rapid heart rate also my b/p was up this was certainly not normal for me. I also had some nausea and headaches I became scared of all these things that were happening to me so my husband took me to the E.R. I thought I was having a stoke or something bad was wrong with me after seeing the E.R Dr. He could not really tell what was wrong all the test I was giving were normal THANK GOD! However the Dr. did sat it was a poss. side effect of the medicaton I was taken (Levaquin) like everyone else I was just passing these symptoms off as me just being sick but after looking up this drug I have come to realize this was my problem and I only pray to GOD that this gets better and is not long term effect. I do not reccomend anyone to take this medication.

Two weeks after taking Levaquin for a urinary tract infection, I developed a rash/hives that covered my entire body. I had frequent violent itching attacks and wanted to scratch my skin off. After two days of the hives, I went to Urgent Care and was given a steroid shot and Prednisone. The next day I had severe chest pains and shortness of breath. I went to the emergency room and and EKG came back abnormal. My white cell count had shot off the charts to 35.0 I was admitted to the cardiac unit and was put through a battery of heart tests. All came back unremarkable. After three days of blood tests, CT scans and nitro tablets, I was released with no conclusion as to what I was experiencing. The rash continued, just not as bad and I've experienced joint pain. One week after the intial symptoms, I began experiencing dizziness and loss of vision. It has now been two weeks. I've had a MRI on my head to determine the cause of the dizziness and the vision loss and results from the MRI are pending. I was a healthy 46 year old before taking Levaquin. Currently, I cannot work a full day without vision loss or dizziness. I've been so perplexed as have the five doctors I've seen as to what the cause of my symptoms could be. After reading many comments from Levaquin patients, I now believe that I've found the cause.

I am a 53 year old RN, who is pretty much up to date on medications. I have been given Levaquin IV for Crohn's flare ups, but since my surgery 4 years ago, I have been fine. I have taken it orally once before, no problems. Last week after being on Macrobid for a few days and it not working, my pcp Rx this. I almost immediately started having a gerneralized adverse reaction, shortness of breath, elevated pulse and dizziness, felt as if I would faint. It passed, and as I wasn't expecting a reaction, I was certain I was not imagining it. I went to this site and was pretty concerned, but continued taking it as I know the power of suggestion and usually dismiss "drug paranoia". Big mistake! I now have pain all over my body. All the major muscle groups are hurting. Bruising all over my legs, and insomnia. Since I already take an RX for sleep, I'm sure it is the Levaquin. I pray I do not get worse, as this is bad enough. I'm sure my PCP will tell me I'm nuts, Docs are the absolute worse. I should probably go see the nurse practitioner, might have a better chance with a nurse. Just adding my 2 cents, and if I keep one other person from taking it this is worth the time, though I work on line all the time, with no problems, my wrists are hurting as well! In the past I had a reaction to Cipro, but nothing ever this bad. The new bugs out there are all becoming immune to regular antibiotics, and if you have a UTI like I have you can get pretty desperate. DON"T EVER take this for a simple sinus infection! I would rather have headaches all day. Sinus infections eventually clear up.

I was given levaquin 500 and told to take 1 tablet two times a day. After taking just 4 tablets I started to experience a wierd phantom taste and smell, heart palpataions, shortness of breath, difficult swallowing, insomnia, chest pains, brain fog, confusion, to tell you the truth I feel like I am being piosoned. DO NOT TAKE THIS DRUG!!! IT IS POISON!! It is a very powerful antibiotic and should only be used when all other antibiotics have failed and only as a last resort. Don't be a guinea pig for the pharmacutical companies! Don't be a fool this drug could take your life, it is not worth it when there are other good antibiotics with less side effects avaiable to you.

Hubby has been sick for weeks now. I went to the pharmacy to pick up yet another prescription of an antibiotic (Levaquin 500mg 2nd 7 day dosage) for him. He has bronchitis. They decided to do one of those prescrition counceling sessions just in case this was a new perscription for him. The lady was very nice and explained the possible side effects to me! One of which is fatigue (heaviness in legs and arms) and drowsiness, shortness of breath and more. I was
shocked!!! These are all the problems my hubby has been describing! He thought he was going to have a heart attack. I said "I'll bet hubby didn't pay attention when you all told him this the first time!" She said well it's also written right here, and there was the huge long read out of all the possible side effects etc!!!! I said oh he wouldn't read that it's too small of print and far too much information!
Well guess what! I told him about it. He stopped taking it
yesterday, just to see if the meds were the cause of him feeling so horrible. LOL, more than 30 hours after he stopped taking Levaquin...he just read the entire newspaper including the horoscopes, funnys and all (HE NEVER DOES THIS) and now wants to take me out for Breakfast! We're both laughing at how much better he feels! I can't tell you the huge relief to see him feeling better, and I know he's as thrilled or more than I am!!!!
HOLY CROW! Who'd have thought his "antibiotics" would have caused him to feel so miserable!!! Be cautious and watch for side effects if you ever have to take Levaquin. The doctor had seen my husband again before giving him the new prescription and he has an appointment now with a Neurologist and a Proctologist for alot more testing. WHY didn't the doctor see that the symptoms he was hearing and seeing were side effects of Levaquin??????
Thank You for this forum, it's shed alot more light (scarey as it all is) on what my husband was taking and the side effects that he was having. I'm putting the word out to all my family and friends of the experience and especially cautioning them before taking the medication.

I have taken this drug over the last three years for prostrate infections - if you get a bad case of prostitus you might end up taking it for 30 days as the prostrate is a dense organ and this is the only drug I've found that actually eliminates the bacteria causing the condition.
Recently I have started to develop more side effects to the drug than the usual joint pain - as like the others all my doctors said it wasn't the levofloxin but in reality it was - my recent symptoms are chest pain WHEN DOING SIMPLE EXERCISE LIKE LONG WALKS (external I have no cardiac problems) - over the heart area, in the front center where the ligaments attach and in the left and right shoulders plus center of my back, the pain is so bad it causes shortness of breath.
You can do real joint damage if you exercise while taking this drug and injuries come easy and with no warning. Joint pain is the normal and it takes about a month of flushing your with system with water for the effects to begin to diminish.
The instructions indicate that it should be taken with lots of water - DON'T OVERLOOK THIS WARNING AND TAKE LOTS OF WATER WHEN ON THIS DRUG AND YOU WON'T HAVE AS MUCH TROUBLE WITH THE SIDE EFFECTS - THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT AND I DON'T THINK THEY STRESS THIS ENOUGH.

I was administered Levaquin for 7 days intervenously in the hospital and sent home with more for 9 additional days. I started having pain above my left thumb, red and swollen and painful. That went away but now I have severe pain in my knees and legs, shortness of breath and rapid heartbeat. After reading all of these side effects for this medication I'm appalled at the doctors. I called my doctor and he said Oh yeah, it's the Levaquin but can you take it for at least 3 more days? NO!!!! And I advise anyone else not to take this medication either.
How do you file a complaint with the FDA?

i just took a dose of Levaquin 500mg that was prescribed to me yesterday for a lingering sinus infection.
After feeling like i am going through menapause this morning (i am 32).. i looked it up on the internet and found this site.
It has only been in my system for maybe 3 hours and i am sweating constantly, my heart rate is extremely excelerated, my eyes feel like the pupils are the size of a dime, my stomach is upset, and i am not breathing normally. I seem to have a shortness of breath. I am an extremely fit and healthy person. I do believe after this first dose and reading the postings on this site.. I will not take another pill tomorrow. I just pray that this does not linger long. I really feel "out of control"

I was prescribed Levaquin for recurring prostatitis by my urologist. I am a 33 year-old male and a moderate runner, about 15-20 miles per week and do half-marathons without much difficulty.
I started taking the pills in early August in the middle of the week. I ran two 7-mile routes over that weekend and felt more worn out than usual. I thought I was just burning out a little and did not run again until that following Saturday. I ran my usual 7-mile route but it was a living hell. I experienced weakness in my leg muscles, shortness of breath, and just a general, chronic fatigue. I was mad at myself--I was worried that since I had skipped by mid-week run that I had lost my "wind".
The next day I felt as if I had been hit by a truck. I could not get down the stairs in my home. I had severe pain in my Achilles heels and knee joints. My wife's good friend is a pharma rep and she explained to me that ligament tightening (with high potential for rupture) is one of the side effects. Great, I thought, my doctor gave me these pills without discussing any of this and now I have put myself at significant risk for rupturing a tendon and being on crutches for months.
I got off the pills but the pain in my knees was nearly crippling. I walked with a significant limp for three weeks after getting off the meds. Sitting for more than 30 minutes and then getting up would cause my right knee to not be able to bend and I needed to take several steps before it would loosen.
Of course, my running stopped for a month. I had to stop training for the Chicago half and full marathons.
Sitting here today as of October 22, I still have significant pain in my right knee. I am running regularly, but with about 50% the strength and stamina as before I got on the meds.
If you are a runner I would not consider taking this medication for any reason. The risk of a materially negative impact to your training and your lifestyle is significant.

I had taken Levaquin two days for a urinary tract infection. The first day I took it I was fine. The second time was @ 7:00pm & @ around 9:00 I couldn't sleep. I had huge anxiety, my heart was racing, I was lightheaded, & my body was tingling. I felt like I was going to die. I was barely able to stop myself from going to the ER. It took me 4 hours before I could go to sleep & the following day the left side of my chest was tight & I had shortness of breath the entire day. 1 night of hell was enough for me to stop. I called my doctor & he had prescribed me a generic antibiotic. My advice, stay away from this drug. I wouldn't wish the effects I had on my worse enemy.

I started taking Levaquil on, I think, wed. March 3. I took 250 mg twice a day for 3 1/2 days. Since I started taking these pills for pneumonia I have felt absolutely terrible. I have a bad headache, intermittent hot flashes, shortness of breath, metallic taste in my mouth, an acute sense of smell and complete lack of taste, extreme lethargy, irritability, unable to sleep more than 3 hours at a time even if I take an ambien, bad nightmares, have gotten out of bed in the middle of the night and wandered outside, mild nausea, a feeling of whoooshing throughout my body, chest pain, and my memory is so shot I couldn't even count from 10 to 1, I keep getting stuck on the 5 or 6. I am an otherwise healthy physically fit 37 yo physical instruction teacher. I spoke with my Dr. and he instructed me to stop taking Levaquin and has put me on Biaxin. Does anyone know how long will this last? Thanks for what information you can pass on.

Yes, shortness of breath was also one of the side effects that I experienced. I posted previously #4l51
I printed out all the information I found on the effects of Levaquin and all the other antibiotics in the Quinolone family and brought it to the dr that gave it to me. He didn't even want to look at it. saying "I know about the side effects this drug can have on some people" and told me I should have gotton off of it right away and that it will take time for the effects to get out of my system.
I also found that this drug was unaccepted in Canada and other countries.
If you are getting shortness of breath, I suggest you stop taking it and tell your doctor.

I was prescribed Levaquin (500 mg) for a U T infection. After taking the first pill I was not able to sleep for 40 hours and had some shortness of breath. I became very jittery, could not sit still. Got a lot of cleaning done. Had to take a Benadryl to get some sleep. I called the Dr.'s office and their response was "these side effects are not from the Levaquin, but, we will call in a different prescription for you to take."

I can understand some peoples concern for others stopping their medication without completing the full peried of time.. However, sometimes, it is unavoidable.. My mother is terminally ill. She has a bed sore that involves a staff infection. They put her on Levaquin for one week. She experineced sever stomach pain, overall body pain.. You couldn't touch her without her crying out in pain.. She would barely eat or drink. At one point the nurses thought she might be having a heart attack as the whole left side of her body had shooting pains up and down it.. I asked then if they thought it might be the antibiotic as it started the day after she took the first dose. They didn't think so.
A couple of weeks later, the infection in the sore resurfaced, and they started her on another round of Levaquin. Same exact symptoms, only this time she started getting body swelling, she could not hardly swallow, and was terribly short of breath.. It was horrible, but again dispite my concerns, they made me continue the med with her and even wanted her to have an extra weeks worth..
After 8 days, I had had enough.. My mother was suffering extensively, it was as if this medication would kill her before her terminal illness would.. I INSISTED that they take her off this med...Three day have passed.. She has some of her appitite back, the swelling went away, you can touch her now except that her heel is still very sore. She is alert and can swallow again.. NO ONE will tell me is wasn't because of Levaquin.. No more shortness of breath.. All the serious side affects have diminished greatly.. I have recently read that people with heart disease as well as mild renal failure should be watched closely with this med.. My mother has both as well as COPD...Why did they even prescribe this med for her??

I'm so afraid right now. I've been on Levaquin for 5 days. Around the 3rd day my kneens hurt so bad I could not walk up the stairs in my home. Then shortness of breath came. Tonight I took my 5th pill and couldn't sleep from the pain that I decided to look up the side effects. Now I wish I never took this 5th pill. I'm stopping them right away but now I have to suffer a few more days till they are out of my system. I was given these for a possible kidney infection or stone. Thank god I found this site. I'm going to tell everyone I know to be very wary of this drug. Brenda

22--Female, after 2nd dose of Levaquin-500mg for treatment for an ear infection, started having major anxiety attacks. Rapid heart beat, shaking, shortness of breath, thought I was seriously going crazy. Didn't know what was happening to me. Not informed of the side effects. Should have checked out myself, but have been on so many meds that I didn't think too much about it. MISTAKE. Scared me a lot. After checking out the side effects of levaquin on the internet, stopped taking it immediately. Have felt fine since. Took about 32 hours to start to feel back to my normal self. Will always check for side effects from now on and will never take levaquin again.

I was given Levaquin, 500mg a day by my doctor for a skin infection about six weeks ago. I immediately began to feel tired, achy in my joints and lower back, and just plan bad. I could not even sit at the computer for any length of time without being exhausted. I experienced severe shortness of breath and my blood pressure shot through the roof. I could not sleep at night and I had a hard time concentrating on the slightess task. After finding this website, I took myself off Levaquin and requested another antiobiotic. I have been off the Levaquin now for two weeks and I feel wonderful. I still have the shortness of breath but it is getting better. The lower back pain is subsiding. I am hopeful that I will back to my old self in no time. For anyone who is still taking this stuff, you may want to consider taking yourself off as I did.

Diagnosed with bronchitis. After being on Zithromax for a couple of days, my doctor switched me to this on Friday. By Saturday morning, I was extremely dizzy and light headed. Other problems include: nausea, exhaustion, shortness of breath, loss of appetite, headache, and some kind of deadening of my taste buds...I can't taste anything. Needless to say, I haven't taken another one of these pills. I can't afford to be flat on my back for another day and a half.
Going back to the doctor for another solution.

It has been 3 months since I took levaquin. I took it after my TURP. I had anxiety, spaced out feeling, shortness of breath, vision problems, dizziness, irratibility. Also, I noticed in the recovery room that after taking it my lungs hurt with the least bit of exertion. And now, after 3 months, my lungs still hurt with very little exertion. I feel there has been permanent damage to my lungs. Why is levaquin being used when there are other drugs, that have passed the test of time, available.

I have taken three 500mg doses of Levaquin since Saturday. They were prescribed by my urologist for a "possible" minor prostates that might be affecting my PSA (2.2). The very first night I was unable to sleep, tossing and turning all night. Thought nothing of it, and blamed it on diet or too much sleep the previous day. However, insomnia has continued for three straight nights and last night I woke at 4:30 AM with shortness of breath (had to take long deep breaths to feel like I was getting enough oxygen) that felt like an anxiety attack. Although there was no pain, I felt like my heart was pounding and rapid. Finally got a little more sleep and woke up feeling OK in the morning, but blood pressure was elevated. I continually feel like I'm on a caffeine high. I never associated it, but, I woke up second and third days with a sore throat and have had a few minor muscle twitches in arms, legs and abdomen.
I feel fortunate compared to others on this forum. I have stopped taking the Levaquin and have an appointment with my family doctor tomorrow. As a side note, I had an acute prostates this time last year and took Cipro for over one month with no similar side effects that I can recall. Does anyone know if two drugs from the same group can have such different side effects, or can I expect the same problems if I start taking Cipro again?
