I was taken off of synthyroid 15 months ago. I had 75% of my thyroid removed in 1999. I gained 24 lbs in 15 months. I don't know what this doctor was thinking. I was put on Levoxyl 2 weeks ago and can't stand the sick feeling in my stomach and the pains in my joints all over my body. If anyone has been on medication successfully without side effects please let me know what your taking. I felt like a big whiner until I saw that other people are feeling the same way. Does everyone elses doctor say that there are no side effects to this medicine and that it's not the medicine making you feel this way. Please e-mail me at Stormy5563@aol.com with any comments.
