WOW! My Mom is 65 and having a lot of these same issues, rash, swelling of the hands and feet, itching, tired ALL the time, depression and she is really "foggy". Her feet are so swollen she cant walk! Her Dr acts like she is just seeking attention and just orders more blood work! After reading all of your comments I am sure its the Lisinopril! Her doctor told her she should NOT stop taking the meds because she could have a stroke! I am angry he is using this scare tactic. I live 2000 miles away but I ready to make a road trip to get this madness to end! She really needs to find a new Dr and stop using this dangerous drug!
Thank you all for posting these issues!

I started taking Lisinipril to lower my blood pressure about a month ago. since the beginning I felt sleepy, lack of energy, and soon started an almost constant cough and really horrible pain in my left hip/leg.
I had not found this forum at that time, but I did some research using the numerous medical books online. I came across two different pages about coughing and pain in the hip, both of them pointing independently to the same culprit: bradykinin, which happens to be a vasodilator. That is the way Lisinopril acts, lowering BP by dilating blood vessels. I have stopped taking it, and hope the damage to my leg is not permanent. It is really a dangerous drug and should be withdrawn immediately from the market.
