am taking lisinopril 10 mg, once a day, and celexa 20 mg, once a day for less than a week. initially, the two combined, in the a.m. caused severe nausea, diarhhea, horrible headaches, and double vision. needed to have clear head friday for important meeting at work, so did not take either--felt amazing! Felt I needed to take meds like doc said (doc saved my life after 10 years of undiagnosed diabetes with another doc), so tried switching the times up, taking lis in a.m. and celexa before bed. no side effects until i took the celexa--I didn't sleep. am going to try taking the celexa in the a.m. and lis in p.m. and see if that is better. my side effects seem to only be bad when taken in combination--except for being unable to sleep.

I started taking Lisenopril a week ago and feel horrible. I feel like I could throw up all of the time, have hot flashes and horrible headaches. I went back to the doctor today and he said that it was normal and should subside in about 4 to 6 weeks. I don't know if I can wait that long. Has anyone else had this problem?

I have been reading this off and on since I was put on Lisinopril. I have been so ill off and on, with horrible headaches that will not go away, along with back pain - the cough isn't too bad, but comes and goes - and the fatigue is beyond description and I am a caregiver for my husband who has been on this med for years and has had 4 strokes and heart attack, so I need my strength - I have never felt like this before (fatigue) so I told my Doctor 3 days ago and he told me I was a depressed woman and these are not side effects, and I told him never to tell me I'm depressed, and of course I get tired, I'm 72 years old, who wouldn't, but never depressed - I'm very happy go lucky and blessed, so what does one do when their Dr. tells them they are depressed because of side effects of meds.
