I'm glad I found this site; I'm a nurse and have been talking lisinopril for almost 2 years. My BP is 120/70 so the antihypertensive effect of the drug is working well but I've noticed in the past year or so that I have been experiencing more and more muscle and joint pain. I assumed it was arthtitis and even saw a rheumatologist to be sure I did not have rheumatoid arthritis. I have severe back pain now and am scheduled for a nerve block. I am definetly going to talk with my doctor about lisinopril. I have pain intermittingly in both upper and lower arms, both calves, my back and thigh - sometime is my feet and in my hands. But not always in all muscles.
This registry is a place to share positive or negative side effects of using Lisinopril. If you directly experienced a side effect while using Lisinopril, then we encourage you to enter it here. Please note that entries here are the experiences of individual users, and in no way means that you or anyone else will experience the same side effect, since the same medication affects people in different ways. Please always contact your physician.
