Lisinopril and retina

I too had rapid onset of vision problems when I started on teh medication. Within three days of starting a 10mg dosage, my vision was so bad I could no longer read. I stopped the medication and went to my eye doctor, who has treated me for several years for a complete exam. He found nothing wrong with my eyes, no retina problems, and no changes to the eye I had surgery in a few years ago. He believed the problems stemmed from the medication since his exam found nothing else. I have now been off the medication for a week and my vision still has not returned to normal. I can read again but with great effort, the vision is still blurred although I can drive during the day. I have found little in the side effects on the medication to check but in my case I don't believe there is anything else that could have caused the problem.
