Loestrin 24 Fe and losing my mind

I have been on loestrin for 2 months now. For the past month I have been an emotional wreck, and for the passed week I have had anxiety, heartburn and stomach cramps just below my ribcage. My lower back is killing me and my stomach is spasming. I just took my last birth control pill this morning and start the reminder pills tomorrow. I totally don't feel myself. I haven't got my period since i've been on it. My doctor put me on it because I was bleeding abnormally heavy for me two weeks after my period. I really want to not start a new pack, but i'm nervous that i will bleed heavily again. the anxiety is causing me no to sleep.................I hate this pill

I was really liking this BC, I was on Mircette before and it made me crazy, constant crying, weight gain (I'm on the collegiate rowing team, and we work out for 2+hrs/ day) No reason fro gaining 6 pounds in 7 days. Everything was going fine with Loestrin 24 Fe, but now i've been bleeding for the past week, before the brown pills started... but i guess we'll see what happens in the next few days.

For the people who experienced bloating, I did also on the first day, but if you take a B6 vitamin then it goes away, (I heard that from another gynecologist)

I am so happy to read all these posts on here. I thought I was completely losing my mind and was the only one feeling this way. I was on Seasonal for awhile and hated it but was soo scared to change for some reason. When I finally decided to tell my doctor that I hated it and wanted to change, he put me on Loestrin. I have been on this for probably a year and a half now. I never get my period which in the beginning, I freaked out about. Every time I go to the doctor, I ask him if this is ok and he says its fine. In the last couple months I have been experiencing a lot of anxiety and depression that are somewhat unexplainable. I am thinking now this must be a side effect of the medicine because I have never been like this in my life. I just celebrated my one year anniversary with my husband and even he has pointed out that I am not myself lately. I am a little nervous to switch though because I have gotten so completely used to not having a period so I don't know what to do! Have a doctors appointment coming up so will probably discuss with him. Other side effects I had from this is just some exaggerated PMS symptoms around the time of my "period" such as moodiness, fatigue and headaches. That stuff is manageable, especially since there is no actual period to deal with. Just nervous about the overall anxiety and depression I feel that I can't explain. wow after reading your posts i feel much better!!! i thought i was losing my mind...i have terrible periods, full seven days terrible painful cramps, just periods from hell come to find out i have endometriosis and an ovary thats stuck to the vaginal wall my doctor put me on loestrin 24 and its been the pill from hell im constantly bleeding on and off, my right leg goes numb, i had healthy clear skin and now its really dry with fine bumps, my mood swings are crazy im happy then i want to cry, depressed most definitely, constant headaches and nausea after taking it and this is only my first month taking it, i also noticed that im always cold!!! i would rather put up with my painful period then this crap

I was on L24Fe for over a year and experienced MAJOR depression, mood swings, crying for no reason, zero sex drive, bad acne. I stayed on it so long because I had no idea that it could do that to you and I thought i was having a mental breakdown at college...not good. There is good things about it: i did not get any headaches, cramps, spotting and not prego. I am now changing to Cyclessa...heard good and bad about it just like any other pill.

This is the worse pill ever. I suffer from anxiety depression constant mood swings and nervousness. The doctor is telling me that bc does not cause this that there is something else going on. I have a thyroid issue but all is well with that. He recomended I see a therapist so I did I honestly feel I am losing my mind on these pills the therapist told me to go back to my gyn, I and so tired of being bounced back and fourth I just want off of these pills everything was fine before I started them. does anyone else have this issue. These doctors are so quick to pass you on to other people
