Loestrin 24 Fe and new doctor

I am sorry too hear that so many women are having bad side effects from taking Loestrin24Fe. My experience for the last four months has been just the opposite. I was having severe bleeding from fibroids every month during my cycle and it was causing me many problems including severe anemia. Since I began taking these pills I am very pleased. My cycles last two days and are very light compared to before. I have experienced some tenderness in the breast but that is all. Everything else is just great. I give all the glory to God because he gave my new doctor the knowledge to recommend this as an alternate to having surgery. No depression, nausea etc. Thank you Jesus!!!!!

I've been taking this for 9 months now and I'm about to throw it out the window. The first couple of packs were tough to adjust to but I listened to my doctor and gave them a chance. For the past 4 months I have had breakthrough bleeding for 2 weeks before my period is supposed to start and then I have a 3 day period. I started taking this because I wanted some relief from my periods and wanted a shorter one. Breakthrough bleeding tho is not something I"m able to deal with much longer. Since they are right before my periods, I feel like instead of having shorter periods, I am having periods that are lasting 2-1/2 weeks. I'm not supposed to start my period for another week and a half, but I'm having some spotting and cramping like my period is going to start at any time. I hate this pill and I'm going to call my dr first thing Monday and see about a change.

I am 20 years old, and I have taken Loestrin for about 6-7 months. This is my first BC pill. I went from weighing 125 to now weighing 155 and even though I eat healthy and exercise like crazy I'm still gaining weight! I have a large breast size normally (34 G) and now I have to wear a 34 GG or J and it is killing my back so bad. I now get two periods a month (what?!), and I think this pack of pills I am taking right now might be defective, because I have suddenly become extremely paranoid and depressed. The ONLY reason I am still taking this pill is because it has stopped an incapacitating yeast infection that I used to get EVERY period. It was so bad I could honestly do nothing but curl up and sob. But I am seeing a new doctor soon to find another way to prevent the infection, because the psychological effects are not worth it. Also, the doctor that prescribed this pill to me was not my regular physician, and she did no tests on me or asked me any questions. Is this normal?
