Lupron and stomach pain

I ONLY HAD ONE INJECTION AND THE SIDE EFFECTS WERE HORRIBLE. I HAVE A 2 YEAR OLD LIL BOY WHO IS WONDERFUL. WHEN HE WAS A YEAR AND A HALF I WENT TO THE HOSPITAL FOR SEVERE BLEEDING AND FOUND OUT THAT I HAD BEEN PREGNANT AND WAS HAVING A MISCARRIAGE. THEN 6 MONTHS LATER I HAD AN IRREGULAR PERIOD WHICH HAD NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. I HAD ONE AND THEN TWO WEEKS LATER HAD ANOTHER AND IT WAS VERY PAINFUL. I WENT TO SEE MY GYN AND HE DID A VAGINAL ULTRASOUND AND TOLD ME I HAD A CYST THE SIZE OF A GOLF BALL ON MY LEFT OVARY. HE PUT ME OF A HIGH DOSE OF BIRTH CONTROL TO DISSOLVE IT. TWO WEEKS LATER I HAD TO GO BACK TO THE DR BC I WAS STILL IN A LOT OF PAIN. THE DR THEN TOLD ME HE WAS GONNA DO A LAPROSCOPE. WHEN I CAME OUT OF SURGERY THEY HAD INFORMED ME THAT I HAD ENOMETRIOSIS AND THAT MY BLADDER WAS STUCK TO MY UTERUS AND MY UTERUS WAS STUCK TO MY ABDOMINAL WALL. I ALSO HAD THE ENOMETRIOSIS ALL OVER MY OVARIES, UTERUS, AND BLADDER. IT WAS VERY PAINFUL. MY DR SUGGESTED THAT I TAKE A 6 MONTH TREATMENT OF LUPRON. SO I DECIDED TO GIVE IT A TRY. I TOOK ONLY ONE INJECTION AND THE SIDE EFFECTS WERE HORRIBLE. I HAD MOOD SWINGS, HOT FLASHES, STOMACH PAIN, CRAMPS, FATIGUE, TIREDNESS, JOINT PAIN, SWELLING, WEIGHT GAIN ETC... I CALLED MY DR AND HE PRESCRIBED A HORMONE PILL WHICH DID NOTHING. SO I DECIDED NOT TO TAKE ANYMORE INJECTIONS. THAT WAS ALMOST 3 MONTHS AGO. I AM STILL IN SEVERE PAIN SOMETIMES IT IS HARD TO GET OUT OF BED (WHICH I HAVE TO GET UP EARLY EVERY MORNING I HAVE A 2 YEAR OLD). I STILL HAVEN'T HAD A PERIOD AND IM EXTREMELY RESTLESS AT NIGHT I AM TIRED BUT CANT SLEEP. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHEN I SHOULD EXPECT A PERIOD??

I'm 23 and I was diagnosed with adenomyosis, which is internal endometriosis (in which the endometriotic tissue grows within my uterine wall) I have been on Lupron since Nov 2007. I do not recommend this treatment to anyone unless they are in dire need. Though I am supposed to be on it for 6 months, I will not be continuing Lupron due to the negative side effects I have experienced. I've been experiencing extreme mood swings, from being enraged, on edge, anxious, emotional, or very depressed. I get intense head aches, very nauseas, swelling in my stomach at times as well as stomach pain, blurry vision, achy bones and joints, confusion, hard time concentrating, forgetfulness, insomnia, cramps and pressure...and the list goes on.
Please inform yourself and do lots of research before ever thinking of taking Lupron. I would never do this again, especially after realizing the harmful effects it has had on my body physically and mentally. I've learned to trust that the best people to listen to are those that have actually experienced this drug, rather than those that are trying to promote it. Everyone that I have talked to that has either taken Lupron or knows someone that has, have had the similar experiences to mine.
I'm disappointed about my experience with Lupron, and I would never recommend this treatment to anyone.

I have been taking 10 units of Lupron for the past 11 days as a prep for IVF. I feel terrible! I have gained several pounds. I have been having stomach pain and burning as well as abdomial pain. Now I am having weakness and numbness in both of my legs. The pain and weakness started as soon as I took the first shot, but when I told the doctor, I was blown off. Now I am having trouble walking. At times my legs feel as though they have fogotten how to walk. I hope that I don't have to take this much longer.

Night sweats, extreme nausea and stomach pain after my third shot. I am taking norethindrone (progestin) for the side effects and zoloft for the depression/anxiety. I have had endometriosis for 8 years, endured 3 c-section cut surguries to remove it.... this is my last resort...
after 2nd shot was administered, i became weak, disoriented, had ringing in my ears/blurry vision. really scary! right now having extreme stomach pains, if anyone else is having this, please PLEASE let me know. I am a little scared...
