34 year old woman with UTI. I was placed on Macrobid and this is my hird day taking it. I was feeling sooo bad that i started doing searches and found this site and Im happy I did I thought I was crazy. extreme nausea (feels like morning sickness) the thought of any food makes me ill, headaches, sharp stomach pains, extreme fatigue, I generally feel like I have a terrible flu without a fever. I have never had symptoms like this before while taking an antibiotic. I feel so drained that I've been taking 3-4 hour naps during the day. Will call doctor to change prescription. I would rather suffer with the UTI than this!!!

Took it for 5 1/2 days threw the rest away.
Having EXTREME nausea, headaches, flushing, horrible leg pain, stomach fluttering.
I feel overall sluggish and flu like. I would rather have the UTI , I feel WORSE since taking the medication so I discontinued and hope that I dont end up like some of the other people I've read about who had effects for up to a year!!!

I have been taking Macrobid for almost a week and have Extreme nausea also and the worse case of Diarehea I have ever had in my life, I have lost 8 Lbs in a week. I have had very little sleep because even at night I am waking up to use the restroom between 5-8 times. I have tried to talk to my Dr but all the responce I get is that its a normal side effect and after a few days the side effects will deminish. Urgh! frustrating!!
