Since I have been on Macrobid I am breaking out in little rashes all over that are very itchy. I have limits to the antibiotics I can take so this is very frustrating. Also having bad headaches constantly. I have to be on a low dose for 3 months so this is gonna suck!

I have been taking Macrobid for approximately four days. I have had increased headaches that won't go away with normal medication dose. I also have had horrible gas...in addition to stomach pain. I have have had increased urination, having to pee constantly. I have been getting up about four times at night, which is worse than before I went to the doctor. I wasn't sure if this was the UTI or the medication? Saw someone else's posting that they had increased urination too. I'll keep taking b/c I don't want the UTI to continue but the med is not fun.

I took Macrobid for 2 days for a UTI and the whole time I experienced tiredness, headaches, nausea, dehydration, and flu-like aches and pains. I called the doctor on the second day and she told me to stop taking it and prescribed a different antibiotic.

Took it for 5 1/2 days threw the rest away.
Having EXTREME nausea, headaches, flushing, horrible leg pain, stomach fluttering.
I feel overall sluggish and flu like. I would rather have the UTI , I feel WORSE since taking the medication so I discontinued and hope that I dont end up like some of the other people I've read about who had effects for up to a year!!!
