Fatigue, aching joints, flu-like symptoms to include nausea and diarrhea. After about 3 weeks, pain in stomach and fullness in chest. Stopped meds after these symptoms would not go away.

I have been taking Maxide for about one year. Lots of anxiety, depressive feelings and fatigue despite the use of additional antidepressant. I cut the Maxide in half because of fears of kidney problems and noticed immediate improvement in mental symptoms. So I stopped it altogether and feel wonderful. Now using diet, exercise and relaxation to control edema and hypertension.
