I started taking maxide with atelolol (later) have been taking since 1988, have not had any side effects. It works well. Lots of urine making. You people need a shrink, you must all be hypochondriacs! If you think something is wrong ASK YOUR DOCTOR!!! For Gods sake why take it for years and think it is hurting you. If my urine was blue or green I would admit my self to the phyc ward. And the muscle cramping. Well, ya know if you are producing a lot of urine, you are also loosing some potassium and you betcha' your legs and feet will cramp. And if you have nothing better to do take a spelling course.

After using maxide for about a week I experienced uncollable urination and diareha like experiences along with extreeme weakness. There was also a loss of appetite and bizarre dreams. There was some muscle cramping. I ceased taking it and felt an immediate relief.

I have been on Maxzide .25mg for 3 years to help balance fluid for meniere's disease. I have dry skin, hair, blurred vision and recently developed severe painful muscle cramping in my legs and hips followed by numbness in my legs arms and hands. I stopped taking this 05/29/05 in hope to get my life back. I'm 40years old this should not be happening

My partner insists that he's not drunk & he's just very tired. He has slured speech, incoherent, unsteady on his feet & drops off to sleep in the blink of an eye. Could it be something other that drink related? or is he just pretending to himself he's ok?
