I took the 4mg dose for an ear infection. By the 3rd day, I went crazy. I WILL NEVER TAKE THIS AGAIN. Every sound, smell, etc was amplified. It was so bad, I could "feel" sounds. I saw black things out of the corner of my eyes, I stopped taking immediately and ended up in the hospital with severe nausea and weakness. It's been one week since I stopped taking this medicine and my biceps are still tingling and very very very weak. Including my thigh muscles. This is the most horrible drug ever.

I have been taking the drug for two days now and I have experienced weakness in my legs and shortness of breath. I am a cardiac patient with a pacemaker. I wonder if this drug is causing my shortness of breath. I'm afraid to continue taking the medication, but it has helped the pain in my wrisk.

Started Metylpred on 8/11/06 after having a reaction to Avelox combined with Allegra-D both of which I was on for sinus infection. The reaction to Avelox was almost a nervous system breakdown where I started shaking uncontroillably and my BP was sky high. Metylpred has not done much better for me. Have very high anxiety, lore weakness/soreness, headaches. Went back to DR and I am to stop taking immediately. The side effects to this are worse than the sinus infection that I started taking all this for.
