-- By zadwit | Reply | (1) replies | Private Message meI was on Metoprolol ER 50mg daily for two years. started to wake up at night short of breath, rapid hear rate (110), BP 170/110, so my GP doc said to quit taking it . I tapered off in 4 days, have had bad withdrawal symptoms last 15 days. Several times a day and esp. at night, have shortness of breath,(oxygen saturation check 97%), also left center side of chest has dull pain that comes and goes. I hope these are withdrawal symptoms and they end soon.EKG, sonogram, x-rays, blood test all ar OK. Help me please to ease my mind!!Alone in Alaska.
