Mirena and good god

I am so glad that i found this website. I am calling my doctor tomorrow to get the Mirena removed! I got it inserted in June of 2008... at first everything was fine. Then i started getting really bad cramps so I went to the doctor to make sure that everything was okay. She said the cramps were just because I have never had a child before and they would go away.... well now 4 months later they are just getting more excruciating. As well as i have been so depressed and just had days where i have no motivation to even get out of the bed. Which is not like me. I have also gained 10-15 pounds since i had it inserted. Every once in a while i will get really sore breasts, and good God not to mention the acne problem i have had since June. I would not recommend the mirena to ANYONE.... and I do not think that it is fair that none of us were warned about these side effects when the Mirena was inserted.
