Mirena and hair loss hair

I had teh Mirena inserted in February 2009. The last two months I have had BAD back pains, hair loss,hair loss,hot flashes and headaches like crazy!! At first I thought something was wrong with me other than side effects from the Mirena but when I found this website and read the comments..... I ALMOST LOST IT! I will definitely be having this removed! I can't take it!! Not only that I bleed at any given time of the month sometimes light sometimes not!! Now I'm scared they won't be able to find it! The first couple of months I didn't see or remember any side effects but now they are definitely there!!!

I had my mirena put in about 3 months ago. About a month later I started noticing hair loss; not to mention lower back pain, acne (mostly on my back, nose), abdominal pain, feeling tired, headaches, & depression. I have been dieting and exercising (extensively) for about 4 months now and have not lost a pound. The hair loss has really gotten out of control so I decided to check with a pharmacist and she suggested that I take Biotin 1000 and Womens One a Day every day. That same night I started googleing "Hair Loss", "Hair Loss Vitamins" and then I thought why not google "Mirena-Hair Loss". I am so happy that I was directed to this website. I was shocked to see how many woman are having the same symptoms I have. What I find most upsetting is that none of these side effects are mentioned on their website nor by the doctor. I already made an appointment to get this "horrible" thing out. Does anyone know if it hurts when it's removed?

depression, irritability, hair loss, hair texture change, crying, no sex drive (im 19), kicking feeling in belly, doctor cant "find my string" so they manually dilated my cervix and still no string, nausea, painful sex, p.i.d, insomnia, head/body aches, nasty discharge, no motivation for life...the list is very long as you can see how the hell do i know if its in or not if it is how will they get it out? plz help

I got my IUD placed in about april of 07 i have seen than experience crazy skin problems such as ance i've never had a problem with ance and i'm 25 i have very bad mood changes that are unexplainable now that i have reread the side effects of Mirena i now know why all the side effects began around the same time and now i'm figuring out why! I will be getting it removed. Has anyone else experience really bad mood swings i was so ready to get on depression medications now i'm going to get it removed and will take it from there!!! Please let me know if i'm not the only one
