I took this medication for UTI for 2 weeks. I experienced numerous pulmonary problems such as bronchitis, breathing problems, chest pains, fever, and wheezing. I also found plenty of articles stating that this drug causes lung complications and can be fatal.

I wasn't sure if this was a side effect or could be due to something else, but apparently some one else's posting indicated similar side effects.
