Ortho-Cept side effects

Severe FATIGUE... I cannot explain enough how fatigued I am while on Orthocept. I classify it as a mix of depression too. This is awful and yet my doctor keeps telling me to 'tough it out for another month'. I have lost 5lbs this month and am always sick to my stomach. I have the weirdest forehead and eyeball pain/headaches. My legs also broke out in an itchy rash during the end of the first week and the red bumps are still here. It is just awful, people. I feel like my whole body is falling apart. I'm only taking this because my periods are excruciating. I'd rather go through the pain for 2 to 3 days than all of this for months.

Sickingly heavy, clotty periods. EWW!

I started taking Ortho-cept when I was 17 i am not 26. My body I think is not doing well on this pill anymore. I am depressed, lossing my hair, have no sex drive at all! I don't even know why I am on the pill if I am not wanting sex and my mood swings are bad. I am mad and pissed off all the time. The only good thing is I did not get pregnant once.

Major depression, enlarged breasts, sick to my stomach, acne, loss of appetite, fatigue...the depression has lead to suicidal thoughts. I am very disturbed by this. It is also difficult to be in a crowd of people. I have become super emotional on this and can't stand myself. I'm off of it today!

I hated it, I was always tired, retaining water so horribly that if I pushed on my leg a mold of my fingerprint would remain. I had sore breasts and my skin was a bit more oily. Loss of libido as well. I changed to Levora and within a month my legs were back to normal, my chest is no longer sore and my libido is back.

I have experienced a vaginal yeast infection while on Orthocept, also got a urinary tract infection during that time. I have only been on the bill for little over a week.

I just got my prescription from my doctor today to start on Orthocept after my next period. For all of the women that have gotten acne after taking Orthocept, can you tell me if it cleared you skin then got acne after discontinuing use of the pill or did you have acne to begin with and then it made it worse when you stopped using it?

I have developed acne, when prior to taking the pill never had any..

Mood swings
Leg Cramps
Weight gain (16 pounds in one month)
Depression

I have expierenced a skin rash when I am to start the green pills for my period. It usually breaks out 1 to 2 days before I start my period. Has anyone else had this? I am trying to decide if it is the pills or not.

Breast tenderness, depression, sadness, hair loss, weight gain, mood swings, etc...

I have experienced major hair loss and acne after coming off orthocept. Can anyone help?

I experienced a DVT and pulmonary embolus in 1996 as a result of taking Orthocept. I now have permanent vascular damage in one of my legs and require the use of compression stockings. I was 25 years old at the time.
