I started birth control last July and since then I have been on three different kinds of pills. I first was on Zovia. While on Zovia I would get my period every other week, and this went on for six months. Second I was on Karvia, and it made me depressed and increased the cramps to the point where I couldn't walk. My Dr. then switched me over to Ovcon 35 and I am just ending my second pack. I have had nothing but trouble with this Pill.

I have had: sudden horrible headaches, a change of appetite, lack of energy, depression, bloating, stomach cramps, constipation, dizziness, loss of appitite- to the point where i couldnt tell if i was hungry or full, missed period, nausea, and I have gained weight.

It got so bad that I freaked out thinking that I was possibly pregnant and I took a test only for it to be negative. (Thank God). Hopefully switching to Yasmin will be better for me.

I started taking ovcon about 3 months ago. i was on depoprovera for 6 years and my hormone levels became insanly off balanced. I liked the pill at first. It actually helped me lose a few pounds (curved my hunger) and my boobs went up a full cup size. i had an increased sex drive but can't have sex very often because whenever i would have an orgasm i would have this brownish secretion for a few days after. i read that this has something to do with the bill affecting my liver. my periods were pretty normal which was good being as i hadn't had one in 6 years. but i constantly have an upset stomach, terrible constipation, and mood swings. i'ver also had trouble sleeping.
