Ovcon and obgyn

I have only been on this for about 5 days and I just came from the eye doctor because I had very blurred vision, after looking at me eyes He was concerned of more than a migraine. Possibly swelling behind the eyes wich is called "Adema" part of a side effect on Ovcon. My breasts have been extremely tender and HUGE! A little moodiness and anxiety have also been associated. I am going to see my obgyn today and let Him know what the eye doctor reported.

Ovcon 35 made me irritable, anxious and i got my period after 17 days. my obgyn gave me then Ovcom 50 which gave me assive panic attacks, nausea and paranoia. I stopped it immediately and gave my body a month before i tried the Mirena IUD which sent me to the emergency room for removal because of anxiety, paranoia and the feeling i was going crazy........ 5 hrs after it was out i felt much better. As a result of all the hormonal manipualtion my obgyn had to put me on a anti-depressant which is working amazingly. LADIES be careful and listen to your instincts, you are not crazy and this is very real. It may work for some but not ALL. Hang in there and get help immediately if you are feeling out of control. I started taking ovcon about 2 weeks ago to regulate my crazy periods. I've never been on BC - didn't care for side effects. But with this, every night my calves ache and I feel that I am moodier than ever. I'm calling my OBGYN today. I'd rather have weird cycles than this?!

Since I started taking Ovcon 35 I cramp and I had breakthru bleeding/period that lasted 2.5 weeks. I went to the OBGYN and he said remain on it one more mth...and the biggest downfall is the weight gain. I am miserable with the weight gain and I am seriously dieting and nothing seems to shed the weight off since I started taking this pill. Therefore, I plan to stop although I do not want to get pregnant right now if and when that happened it would be ok considering I am happily married and do not have any children yet. I just want to plan that and I want to be able to fit in my clothes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am sick of dieting and due to a BC PILL I am fat!
I can't take Othro Tri Cyclen which I did for 7 yrs due to break thru bleeding. I wish things were simple but I guess they are just not once you hit your 30's!
